How many female type designers do you know? I know many and talked to some!"
I've been reading this book "How many female type designers do you know? I know many and talked to some!" I find it really interesting coz they have a lot of use. Things that they found difficult and how they approach to type and what type is in their Projects. Jenna Gesse for example works a lot for type. And she said that she first look at the content. What's the topic? Is it historical forward-thinking, chilli or emotional, playful or strict? And that gives you some advice on how to. Voice the typeface to give the voice to the product or thing you make. You have to be clear about what function the typeface has to fill. Do you need a long body copy in a book or for a short headlining poster? After trying to colour different typefaces with the original text, print it out in the original size. Have a look rework until the Penny's dropped. I think that is the way many people work with typesetting. Just testing it out and printing it out, seeing if it works. Which is kind of what I'm doing with the brief I'm working on now. I mucking it up. Since I can't print it out. And seeing how it would work on the cans. Because it's difficult to know why you don't have the proportions of it and it makes sense or not.
I also absolutely love the layout the small margins and the type layout and shape of the book is very appealing to me.

development
I thought of with Making adjustments with the Previous illustration. Alright, toggle the colours to make it orange colour over the soda, but it looked a bit washed out. I then tried a yellow tone for it. Or it is similar to the initial shade? i do relly like the banner as it has the short slogan for the soda.
It doesn't feel quite right, so I looked into what's associated with siestas and that's hammocks, and usually men in hammocks with a hat. So I found an illustration online and read it myself. I tried to toggle it, but it all ended up looking kind of too close to the original. And when I put it on the can, it also looked a bit weird.
As to remove the colour issue, I tested it in black and white. But it looked really dark and the buckle would also absorb so much heat, so the server would not keep called on the table if it's sunny. I think having a white background would be the best option as it would allow for. Heat to Not attach to it.
I want to do a typographic approach. I toggle this typeface to make it suit the chill vibe of the soda as a silly lazy summer day type of drink. I quite like the placement like this, but the other one is similar and I don't want them to look the same.
I found another typeface and I really like this. It has this elegant appeal that would appeal to the consumer in mind, which is adult. People which wanted to swap out alcohol for other options. It's also quite contemporary and somewhat playful, so doesn't eradicate the current consumer. I played around with lots of different type settings. I ended up liking the one that was divided into 3 as it showcases the way the word is said in case you're having issues with it. I then test out a couple of different layouts for additional elements such as the sun and the banner, as I really like the banner from the initial development of the soda.
I really like the banner running all the way down the sun not being set and having it before because she asked this aren't when the Somerset it's during the daytime. I think the illustration part of my sketching was quite successful in that I found a shape that I really quite liked. But also I think this design would really appeal to my target audience as it's a fixie skated whilst adding this sun element would. Appeal to the playfulness of people. Also, seeing as this is a white can, if kids have it, you can have crayons and draw on it. As this allows for more creativity. I was thinking of a promotional thing that could be quite fun for this is you buy it and you get like the small aeroplane crayons with it. So when the can is empty, you can play with it. I got some feedback on it and a lot of them said that this would become they wanna keep after. Which is the best compliment really? I played around with The placement of the Amount in the can. I settled on having it where at the usual is because when it was interlocked with the sun it looked a bit off to me. I preferred it when it was on the biggest sun.

Am I create? They sent? She said that the briefs needed more purpose, but I feel full. For a weekend two-week long brief, I feel like they are rooted enough in the industry that they are. The idea of branding it for a new audience is probably but the best way to go about it, as focusing on the current target audiences. As I limited myself too much, I want to have it as sleek and appealing, but referencing this old account's history instead of the target audience, which would work in that. Regard also. Have the people under consumer in Focus as it would. Just do that. With the collaboration with charys, I probably didn't explain that oil, but. I feel like Nick tends to just knock my ideas down a bit, but that's fine. I'm still gonna go ahead. I got no shame, but I like the idea of doing something retro for the tropo one And does you more illustrative Development for this? Yes, the one. As a feel like the. Tropo one Can be opened up to more people than it is. A lot more people know about siesta. Just don't buy it. So I think siesta is about. Brit reaching out and branding it for more people whilst tropo. It's more about putting it out there, In an appealing way.
