Research
I started before I properly started with some slight research into the fuck Boris movement. Essentially period, it’s quite a vocal one because a lot of people are very much annoyed with the way that he has tackled the coronavirus situation overall and how his messages tend to go back and forth or in circles. With eternal announcements and changes and going back and forth in circles essentially creates this distance between the way things could’ve done. This is especially so now that you can look at other countries and how they dealt with it, the disliking hate for him makes a lot of sense.

Even before Covid, he had a lot of questionable things around him, so much so that huge London created spoof brand guidelines for him in 2019 in July, so it was way before Covid was a thing in our minds at all. The idea was to create the set of guidelines to poke fun at this polarising politician as he is keen on aggressively promoting himself as a living brand of the country, which is interesting because he’s done so much bad stuff he said racist things so many times that you actually lose count, he lying to the general public on numerous occasions and even got stuck in a zip line.that’s not necessarily his fault, but still it’s a thing. They reference the exact words come out of Boris is now off and teamed up with getting images to get some good shots of the Prime Minister jogging given double thumbs up or running sheet a string of hotdogs the guidelines outlined the tone of voice personal values an art direction and colour palette of the Prime Minister using the blue bright blue which is quite an obnoxious colour and also the Conservative parties colour.and a tagline that reads,‘‘ to appeal to the right, target marginalised. Past examples include calling women in burkas letterboxes.“
In summer 2020, the black lives mattered to sort through the world, and in the UK, a lot of the protests shown were based around American police violence, which is interesting as there are many issues for the British police asses.Sivertsgård such as the last time a police officer was successfully prosecuted in the UK concerning the death of somebody in custody was in 1969. Everyone since then has gotten away with murder. If you’re a police officer, it’s this entitlement that a lot of people hate the police for, and I don’t think it’s something you see very often in the UK that people actually notice but with this New case about Sarah Everard, what is there was suddenly a new light shone on it and even just days after women say everything seems to go to shit because even more stories got told about people being sexually harassed or case about police offices how they are meant to be in civil clothing out in public when they win the ones of killed someone many people probably when you can’t feel like you can trust someone is quite a big issue which is why it’s led to this uproar. For the soul, because even this led to the new bill that would ban people from a piece of protest and that’s how they kill the bill movement came into town it’s all happening really quite fast maybe it’s a bit too much, but I think it’s important to have some outlet for it.
This mood-board shows the different elements of protest, giving us both a theme as well as practical inspiration. In terms of creating Relevant article outcome reliant on what's come before without being completely dependent on it, as this breathe is based around as now initials so there will be no long sentences it'll be quite short and his ties which means that the type based would have to be more exploded and played around with.

The idea of using graphic design as a way of protest or to give a wider community the information about what is going on within current global issues. Designers have the power to show the effect of many issues, such as the idea of fast fashion with examples given to show the power that the garment industry has on the waste of the world. By designers "hacking" (Long, 2019) into this, using the same tools as advertisers to give eye opening and the shocking reality of these industries.
As a graphic designer to be able to speak about things that are happening in a contemporary way. and think about what's going on around and not being sucked into your own little sphere. being able to support a movement seems quite ideal for a poverty project as it allows you to see a project from a different point of views. The idea of being able to express protest in a digital and physical way is becoming ever more pressing, with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook "have a sparked conversation about how (and how not to) express solidarity" (Fussell, 2020). By being able to understand design and these platforms gives audiences and designers a space to show their opinions in a creative sense as well as using this as a way to get news or messages spread. Especially since we aren't supposed to gather in groups now I think you sing a social Media platform to promote this would be quite prevalent if we were to sell or distribute these posts as we could use them both as a digital poster for protest but also to sell to people so they can have their own either print out at home because keeping the costs low so it's like a couple of p for the designs.

eyes following you in paintings
So how does it work? Essentially, what is going on is that the light, shadow and perspective depicted in a painting are fixed, meaning they don't shift. Remember when your friend stared forward and you walked from side to side? His or her eyes didn't follow you because the light and shadow, as well as perspective you see, actually change. Features that were close to you as you stood on one side are farther away when you stand on the other side. Since the elements of perspective and light and shadow are fixed in a painting and don't change, they look pretty much the same no matter from what angle you look at it

Protest as well as current issues in society, including new laws government use and problems with the current climate it's important to consider audience within this as the way people perceive it is quite key2 how how everyone will react obviously. having a voice as a graphic designer is quite scary in away but also very appealing. "Graphics and communication design is crucial to spreading the message of any movement" (Wong, 2020) with protest movements such as Black Lives Matter, now you see me, climate strikes and International women's day (protests about injustice. It is important to consider the issues within society, the current climate and how design can be informed from this as well as highlighting these issues to audiences, making voices and opinions heard. I wanted my own issues and opinions to be shared, what I am passionate in and how I would protest if given the chance. In a similar way Lucienne Roberts talk about how and if graphic design can save your life(2017) and as many people's different approaches to this some so you can some say can't but in this case I really do think you can. because showcasing an issue in a clear and concise way allowing people to have a space and possibly change laws down the line can save many people's lives.

I started working on the cc posters, as I thought it will be quite simple. I wanted to play around with the idea of flashlights and searching, but things can get more muddled up, and you can’t fully see what it is anymore. To showcase, the feeling of a lot of people like people is looking for you, but it is the people who look for you, the ones you want to find you.and I want to play with this idea of insecurity and imbalance are used on my own made typeface is that I made for a different project but didn’t end up using I also altered some of them because I felt like it needed to the top left one is from my grans' Label projects were made a typeface based on Minecraft I don’t think your work for that it looks quite cool in this. However, I like when it canna models into one entity sort of.but I think my favourite one, and then I’m going to try and sell on to Carys, is the top right one. This typeface is a smooth and slick typeface that I made focusing on snails because it leaves a trail, and I feel like that suits the theory and aspect of this whole case quite well. That’s early slick in a good way which I don’t think anyone and look at a snail-like oh that’s great, but I think that’s kind of the point with this poster, and it makes sense to me. I played around with making one that transforms its half into an upsidedown sea as well. I think you can lose the whole initial idea for that.

I also started playing around with FB. I initially made the bottom right once the four in the bottom played with this crowded idea and overwhelmed.but I don’t think that worked out well. It’s my own custom typeface that I made; I don’t think it suits it.so I found a couple other type because I made the orange one above it, but I don’t think they into lock or say much about it at all. Events playing without some type are the app on my computer, and I do quite prefer them. They seem simpler a more achievable in a way. I want these ideas to be well thought out but not take much time because it is a weekly brief, and I think the idea of doing a live thing would be much more relevant for FB. It’s on these over to charys to see what she thinks.

She really liked the middle one with the same lines inside of it. It is probably one of my least favourites once, but I want to try out what she said to do with it, and this is it, but I don’t think he has more labyrinth feel to me. It feels quite stable. I think that could be something a project will do well with this, but I’m not sure if it’s this one.
I think the most somatic correct one for the FB poster would be the circle one, but I wanna play around with some spiral ones cause it seems like the world is going into a downward spiral, so it might be worth doing that tomorrow.
In terms of the kill the film posters, I wanted to have a sense of a proud because what the protests are about is about being able to protest peacefully. Hence, I think the idea of having something visually appealing yet having the idea of a crowd and would be really quite beautiful. The first one, I just did, adding more versions of it backwards. I try making something 3-D, but I didn’t like that much, but I quite like just the simple ones did I also tried to do stripes on it, but I hate it.I use my own type of this as well. This is the typeface used in my proposal for the end of year show brief, but only the cheese used in both places, and I thought of that so we would fit with a K dog. All the letters have been altered so they fit as a symbol instead of separating cliffs it up as it would allow more of a union of the letter is as people are joining in in this battle to be able to protest when the things you disagree with. to have a right to not be able to protest serious dictatorship asked to me.I wanted it to be able to more than two letters because if this were to become a longer series, you need to have variations of it and have the letters work for each subject.this typeface used is used because it is pliable. You can mould into anything, Which is something that humans are quite good at the adapt so if they are allowed to peaceful protest on the street you will have uproar everywhere else.

I’m truly in love with this design. It has the elegance movement, and it has a sense of control in chaos, uni and about that as one because everyone has a separate story spanning how big or small and any would it be good to have a voice.
The initial letters and I played around with layouts until I landed on the final one as I see you’re trying to be mirrored, but you see the shape of it. It’s completely different; I made it more warps and personality-based.
