they said to use a thesaurus and explore to have a non-related because the women health-related ideas I had were not great and anything
I started trying to find the name searching female in a thesaurus I've had a couple of words there and just moved it but further Ended up at the words of bluntly, From there from the word frankly And subsequently freely which seems like the perfect name for this website. as it's meant to be an open space for people to learn about female health issues but also a place where people can talk to people about it and learn stories. I started experimenting with some typefaces I have in my repertoire.
I took the typeface that I liked but I tightened the kerning of it as it less of individual letter and more as
a whole word I decided to connect it since it is a logo type. I was looking at a couple of website of
medicine and they all are filled in in blue or black for the logo type I wanted to do something completely
different.
I therefore tried to outline it I love it it looks fun and in terms of other marketing I think would go
cross really well I made this tiny pattern for it and it looks adorable in the colours that I have already chosen the randomizer.
After I chose the typeface and I am very happy with it being so simple and I only just refined it along the lines of it. so that these interlocking nicely. I wanted to find a body type that would be in majority of the writing since there will be a lot of writing I was only to find a system to do the writing without it being a block of text and it is off-putting. either using colour or maybe boxes.
I research some fonts that would be good online fonts like Arial and the verdana came up in addition to courier I also went through some mine would have the required x-height type that work quite nice for web but not too high as well. like geneva or courier new.
Shows a few month in these but these at the ones that had some interest to them.
Arial narrow
it's a good time but I feel like with the Narrow type of it it does not work as well as it's not as legible as the normal aerial font. it also doesn't work that well with the logotype.
arial
this looks quite good I like it as it is legible it's simple it's believable without being too pushy. he has kind of an overused energy to it though.
times
I'm not gonna do a serif typeface for the by text as it creates this weird similarity to logotype but it's not the same typeface. which makes it unbalanced even with a sans-serif typeface for a subheading it would not work as it wouldn't up as much. it would be better to have a serif typeface as the subheadings as it's useless and it can I use that idea of hierarchy with a biggest serif to a small serif to a Sans serif for the body text
courier
this is funny but it also looks like someone other designs and I don't like them on or spacing of courier. it is quite nice typeface for online but I think it would be a matter of a possible fourth typeface but I don't think this website would need that much variation really.
courier new
pretty much the same it's just not quite the vibe that I wanted to be I wanted to be slightly more welcoming and the slab serif hairline typeface just doesn't do it.
verdana
I wanted to add vagina because one of my essays that are read for my cop Project was this man that spoke about the Donna for web design and that was so overused and I was just looking at it to see you like how I felt about it and I kind came to agree I feel like I've seen it everywhere.
geneva
this typefaces really quite Palin to me it's something about the geometric shapes of the letters that are quite nice but but I'm not sure if it's quite what I want.
gotham book
This is the typeface that have landed on and it's Gotham book which is one of my favorites to be fat but it is because it has as.the ska mated to it it's quite even and it's really legible even in small point sizes. it works it's pretty much any typeface as it's sort of a helvetica esk typeface.
before I finally chose them I tested out what could be heading typeface for each of them so for the Arial typeface that I quite like I tried using courier typeface and vis versa. I decided to use calperal pro For the Gotham complementary heading as it is very close to the logo I found the balance of it quite interesting with the use of a car on it it would be really quite nice for a subheading possibly but also since the logo is red any colour would be different than that.
so the final choices are a red outlined logo. the Chaparal pro and the Gotham book as the typefaces alongside of this tinted yellow white beige colour that would soften up the otherwise quite harsh design that it would be if it was a Stark white background colour. the a bit this colour is from the randomizer online.
