illustration work

 

I started with sourcing imagery that I wanted to trace to showcase how things look compare the hormonal coil compare to the copper coil for example.so that people can know which one they are thinking about and that aspects of that.

Once I found them I traced them over the news the colour palette that I picked out I tried to make it a mix of colours so it’s not all the same I focus on having the beige outline as it would go with all the colours compare to mix a matching am them as to have a more curated look to the illustrations. 

Bit bit of a tedious process but I think they’re quite alright I think I’m capable this it’s fine. Illustrations are going to have much development as I don’t know what to do with them I think they’ll be fine as is. 

Landing page and possibly other pages I wanted to have female bodies or a straight head but having different body types of them so I was just looking to stock photos and advertisements using different shapes of female bodies they are all white centric though just going to be key for me to make it race neutral I think.

I start off making a body based on a photo of a friend of mine I’ve got permission to use it for the outline but just not show the photo.so I outlined the lines of a body and swimwear and it looks really cool I worked on connecting the lines quite a lot so that it would have smooth lines.

I do use three different body shapes one from an advertisement one for my friend and one of me to showcase a range of bodies I know it could be more inclusive but I also can’t make more than three illustrations of a body is just really difficult. 

I think you look really good I’m really happy with them at the end of the day as far as I’ve got no they’re not fully finished yet but I think they’ll be great.

I was just looking at some crowd imagery I’m just lots of emails but I think you focusing on female body as its health and not values are right I think focusing on the bodies makes more sense and have it less personality based with a face.

Phone charts of how the coil is inserted so I made my own colour way of that and made my own uterus and female genitalia so could be used for anything.

I played around with thickness wars I I think it looks quite good and realistic enough but not too much at the same time.

As it is going to be website that a lot of different if she’s having pregnancy imagery with it is key so I found the simple illustration of how a child illustrated looks in a tummy because I had no idea.

I made my own mother and do use the illustration are found to create a child for the bubble where the child will be representing the tummy.

Having her faceless makes it less person I think and I think that’s a good thing also I don’t think I could handle making a face I can barely handle making hands.

The lining is shut during the master flow so having that as an illustration will be quite key for the period page.

ZI had issues filling out how to illustrate illnesses for this so many quite well made charts online I took inspiration from all of them and over Tracy and made them within the colour palette go to simplify them a bit so it’s less of putting with the shading and what not.

Initially made the most regions would’ve been on behind it but I don’t like it I think I’ll be simpler and injustice airport will be nicer and just burying how much the Coke out and filled with in the circles. I’m really happy about the endometriosis illustration as it seems quite similar to the scientific ones. 

PCOS is cysts on the ovaries I found a couple of different illustrations of it but I decided to go with quite a simple way about it for obvious reasons but I made a bit more detailed than the initial for other found I found
